Hi, I’m Kelsey
Over the last decade, I’ve helped organizations make smarter product decisions by embedding strategic UX research into their DNA. I don’t just conduct studies, I build research cultures that elevate user needs, reduce risk, and drive measurable business outcomes.
I’ve led high-impact, end-to-end research across brands like RetailMeNot, Mashable, and PCMag. My work uncovered the behaviors behind coupon and cash back use, reduced churn through journey-based insights, and helped shift organizational thinking from feature-first to outcome-oriented product strategy. I’ve influenced roadmaps, shaped KPIs, and collaborated across Product, Design, Data, Engineering, Customer Support, Editorial, and Marketing to ensure users are centered in every decision.
I lead with clarity, curiosity, and care, mentoring research talent, scaling research operations, and building stakeholder trust along the way. My goal is always the same: to deliver insights that are impossible to ignore and decisions that are better because of it.
How I support organizations as a UX Leader
-
✦ “How can I help you be successful?”
I align my research with business and product goals by tracking stakeholder priorities. When sharing insights, I connect user needs to those goals, making them easier to act on.
-
✦ "What's the problem we are trying to solve?"
I ask this question often to align cross-functional teams around a shared understanding, focus our efforts, and ensure solutions address the core challenge.
-
✦ “Let’s talk about outcomes first.”
I align teams around user outcomes before jumping to solutions, ensuring we stay focused on why we’re building, not just what we’re building.
I enjoy my work, but that's not all.
When I’m not working, you’ll find me
Smoking brisket, pork shoulder, chicken, and ribs for my family, friends, and competition
Taking my dogs, Harvey and Appa, on hikes
Planting flowers and enjoying my garden
Relaxing with some hot tea and a good book
Caring for my yamadori bonsai collection
Talking to and overwatering my houseplants
